L’École d’été sur la physique et les applications des nitrures est organisée en 2023 à Porquerolles (83) par le programme GANEXT. Il entre dans un cycle d’écoles biennales organisé par GANEX, à Montpellier-La Grande Motte en 2013, Nice en 2015, Autrans en 2017, Agay en 2019, et d’écoles annuelles organisées par GANEXT à Porquerolles en 2021 et Autrans en 2022.

Le programme de travail de GaNeXT a été défini lors de la soumission de la phase 2 en 2018. Il est caractérisé par un focus sur les activités en électronique (RF et puissance) et en optique (LED UV, LED flexible et photonique intégrée). L’école suit en partie ce mouvement de spécialisation. L’école 2021 aura pour objectif de fournir les bases générales sur les semi-conducteurs nitrures et d’approfondir certains thèmes, notamment les nitrures pour les applications en électronique et en optique. Une attention particulière sera accordée à la pédagogie, avec deux niveaux de cours, général et spécialisé. Le travail de groupe sera également l’occasion d’établir des relations entre les étudiants et de renforcer le réseautage.

The Summer School on Physics and Applications of Nitrides is organized in 2021 in Porquerolles (83) by the GANEXT program. It enters a cycle of biennial schools organized by GANEX in Montpellier-La Grande Motte in 2013, Nice in 2015, Autrans in 2017 and Agay in 2019, and of annual schools organized by GANEXT in Porquerolles in 2021 and Autrans in 2022.

GaNeXT's work program was defined when GaNeXT-Phase 2 was submitted in 2018. It is characterized by a focus on activities in electronics (RF and power) and optics (UV LED, flexible LED and integrated photonics). The school is partly following this focus. The 2021 school will aim to provide the general basis for nitride semiconductors and to explore certain themes, including nitrides for electronic and optic applications. Particular attention will be paid to pedagogy, with two levels of courses, general and specialized. The group work will also provide an opportunity to build relationships between students and strengthen networking.
